Duke Realty Corporation Supplier Diversity Policy Statement

Duke Realty recognizes the importance of Supplier Diversity and is committed to ensuring that it is an integral part of our strategic sourcing and procurement processes. It is our policy to offer qualified minority, women, disadvantaged, and small businesses the maximum practicable opportunity to compete, on an equal basis, with all potential and existing contractors to provide Duke Realty with materials and services. We are committed to developing mutually beneficial relationships while contributing to the economic vitality of the small and diverse business communities in our markets.

Duke Realty’s Supplier Diversity Program is led by Corporate Procurement, which is responsible for, but not limited to, the following activities:

  • • Designing, implementing and administering the program to meet Duke Realty’s diversity goals and business needs
  • • Identifying contracting opportunities and purchasing opportunities in which qualified minority, women, disadvantaged, and small businesses can participate in competitive bidding opportunities
  • • Identifying and introducing qualified contractors to the Duke Realty associates with procurement authority
  • • Participating in diverse business development organizations and activities to promote Duke Realty’s commitment to Supplier Diversity

All Duke Realty associates with spending authority are expected to work with corporate procurement during their sourcing and procurement activities to consider minority, women, disadvantaged, and small businesses and to extend contracting opportunities to qualified contractors.

It is Duke Realty’s policy that all diverse businesses be certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) or a federal, local or state government-certifying agency.
